So I think it would be fun for some of Winnie's siblings and the Prince (from the Prince and the Pea) around. They are very open so if you want a character with connection that you can make your own, one of these might be a good choice for you.
Basics: Winnie's family are farmers in the Enchanted Forest and have been for a long time. When Winnie was fifteen, her father was killed for being a supporter of Snow White, so there is some anger towards Regina for that. Her two older brothers moved back with the family with their families (what that entails is open). When Winnie was about seventeen/eighteen, she left to go on a journey in the Enchanted Forest. A few years later she was asked to marry a prince and was titled princess (The Princess and the Pea story) and she agreed but put off the wedding, which never ended up happening. Just before the curse hit, she was involved with helping Jefferson (The Mad Hatter) return from Wonderland and his daughter, Grace, stayed with Winnie's family.
There are three brothers, two older than Winnie and one younger, and a younger sister, plus her mother.
Faces, ages, histories except what is above is pretty open. I do think they tend to be a bit more of homebodies than adventurers but I'm fine with people straying from that.
The Prince
While traveling Winnie got caught in a storm and was taken in by a small royal family, who attempted to use a pea to find if Winnie was a true princess and could marry their son. In reality, Winnie, afraid of heights, did not sleep on their huge mattress but on the floor. When she told the family the next day she did not have a good night's rest, they thought she had felt the pea and proposed marriage. Winnie kind of got caught up in everything and agreed but wanted to put off the wedding to get to know the prince.
Now Winnie found him kind of dumb and dull, but this doesn't have to be the case. His family is quite strange, so it could simply be social skills lacking or any other reason, a curse, whatever. I am not anticipating any romance but not against it either, but their story would be interesting to lay with.
Again, open face, open age though he shoudn't be more than seven, eight years older.
